Trzeci Pułk Piechoty Księstwa Warszawskiego gotów do służby!/ 3rd Regiment of Polish Infantry ready for duty!

Tymi słowami kapral Kozic zameldował nas oficerowi gwardii cesarskiej w zeszłym roku pod Austerlitz i tymi samymi ja obwieszczam ukończenie malowania.

With these words, corporal Kozic checked us to the officer of the Imperial Guard at Austerlitz last year and I will do the same announcing completion of painting. After more than a year from the start of the work I finished the missing 3 companies in 3 days. This means that if I really tried, I could paint whole regiment during a week. There is no excuse for my laziness :P

Oto porównanie mundurów z oryginałami:
Here is a comparison with the original uniforms:

Regimental banner is temporary. I do not have photos of our flag, so I modeled on surviving banner of the 6th Infantry Regiment. Worth noting is different from the modern spelling ;)

Flaga oczywiście malowana ręcznie ;)
Hand-painted flag, of course ;)

Historię naszej wspaniałej formacji poznać można na stronie grupy odtwarzającej Pułk 3. Piechoty Księstwa Warszawskiego, do której mam zaszczyt należeć ;)

The history of our great formations can be found on the website of the reenacting group of the 3rd Infantry Regiment of Duchy of Warsaw, to which I have the honor to belong;)

Infinity & WW I Early French Infantry- Zlecenia/Orders

Skończyłem pierwszą część zamówień- 5 figurek Nomadów do Infinity i 21 Francuzów z wczesnego okresu I Wojny Światowej.

I finished the first part of the orders-5 Nomads figures to Infinity and 21 Frenchmen from the early period of World War I. Both kinds of models were very pleasant to paint, although Infinity took me much more work (delicate sculpture requires more subtle techniques). As a result, the Frenchman took me less than one hour (painting in series-about 10 models in 8 hours), and one Nomad-at least 3 hours. Immodestly I say that the pictures are poor and do not reflect the true beauty of the figures, especially the Infinity models;)

Zlecenia/ Orders

Because my work in Wargamer is now over, I start painting seriously as my job. I have a lot of work, so I hope I can also put something out of it. Here are some examples of my work:

Early WW I French Infantry- 137e Regiment d' infanterie. Still WiP. This is just the begining- there are 38 miniatures more, but I like this models (great sculptures by Great War Miniatures), and there are pleasant to paint ;)

And here we have a model for Infinity game- Nomad from Bakunin, I'm not sure, what unit is this. Infinity models are also very nice and enjoyable in painting ;)
